       A post-Doc. research report was finished by Dr. Chiara Vergani at the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research (WSL). The report concerns the designing and carrying out a laboratory experiment aimed at verifying the effects of root development on soil permeability and aggregate stability; collecting field data concerning root development, soil aggregate stability and permeability in soil bioengineering plots; doing some preliminary attempts for modeling root soil interaction with the software PFC (Particle Flow Code).
