Vienna Workshop , September 2013

 

As scheduled in the REVENUES project, a workshop was organized by BOKU in Vienna on September, 2013. The workshop included the following topics:

• Tests and theories for mechanical behaviour of geo-materials

• Physical modelling of vegetation-reinforced slopes,

• Numerical and analytical methods, applications and case studies.

Experienced and young researchers from Austria, China, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Switzerland, the United Kingdom attended this workshop, and about 30 papers were presented by the participants. The proceedings of this workshop will be published in the Springer Series in GEOMECHANICS & GEOENGINEERING (Edt. Wei Wu, Ronaldo I. Borja) in Springer Press, on September 2014.
